Maastricht is the capital of Limburg province in Nederlands and it is near Belgium and Germany border. If you are passioned about history and local traditions Maastricht is the place you have to go in Nederlands. There is a dispute regarding the oldest city in Nederlands. Some are saying that Maastricht is the oldest one and other say that Nijmegen is older because it was the first settlement recognized by Romans as a Roman city.
